House Leadership
Currently the Kansas House of Representatives consist of 78 Republicans and 47 Democrats - making the House Republican Caucus the majority party. 
On the first day of the session this year, House Members elected Rep. Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) as Speaker of the House and Rep. Don Dahl (R-Hillsboro) as Speaker Pro Tem.
The House Republican Caucus also elected Rep. Ray Merrick (R-Stilwell) as Majority Leader, Rep. Jene Vickery (R-Louisburg) as Asst. Majority Leader, Rep. Rob Olson (R-Olathe) as Majority Whip and Rep. Dick Kelsey (R-Goddard).
