ON 100% VOTING RECORD
Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Barbara Craft (R-Junction City) today on her 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.
“Every time House members had a bill or resolutions before them, Rep. Craft was there to make sure her district was represented through her vote,” Speaker Neufeld said. “This shows not only her dedication to represent her district well but also her commitment to always be on the job for her constituents and to never shy away from the tough votes.”
The House recorded more than 480 votes on bills, amendments and resolutions during the session.
First elected to the 2003 Legislative Session, Rep. Craft represents the 65th District which includes the cities of Grandview Plaza, Alta Vista, and part of Junction City.
She serves on the House Economic Development and Tourism; Education; and Veterans, Military and Homeland Security Committees as well as the Joint Legislative Committee on Economic Development.
