SPEAKER CONGRATULATES REP. FUND

ON 100% VOTING RECORD

Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Rocky Fund (R-Hoyt) today on his 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.

“In his first session, Rep. Fund voted every time a bill or resolution came before the House,” Speaker Neufeld said.  “This shows not only his dedication to represent his district well but also his commitment to always be on the job for his constituents and to never shy away from the tough votes.”

The House recorded more than 480 votes on bills, amendments, and resolutions during the session.

Rep. Fund represents the 50th House District which includes all of Jackson County and Soldier Township in Shawnee County.

He serves on the House Energy and Utilities; General Government Budget; and Agriculture and Natural Resources Committees as well as the 2007 Financial Institutions and Insurance Interim Committee.
