SPEAKER CONGRATULATES REP. HUMERICKHOUSE

ON 100% VOTING RECORD

Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Joe Humerickhouse (R-Osage City) today on his 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.

“More than 480 votes on bills, amendments, and resolutions came before the House this last session and Rep. Humerickhouse cast his vote on every one of them,” Speaker Neufeld said.  “This shows not only his dedication to represent his district well but also his commitment to always be on the job for his constituents and to never shy away from the tough votes.”

First elected to the Kansas Legislature in 1995, Rep. Humerickhouse represents the 59th House District which includes Osage County as well as Willow Springs Township in Douglas County and Appanoose, Centropolis, Greenwood, Lincoln and Pomona Townships in Franklin County.

He is the chairman of the Joint Legislative Committee on State Building Construction and serves on the House Commerce and Labor; Transportation; and Insurance and Financial Institutions Committees.
