SPEAKER CONGRATULATES REP. OTTO

ON 100% VOTING RECORD

 

Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Bill Otto (R-LeRoy) today on his 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.

 

“Rep. Otto cast his vote on every issue that came before the House this last session,” Speaker Neufeld said. “This shows not only his dedication to represent his district but also his commitment to always be on the job for his constituents and to never shy away from the tough votes.”

 

The House recorded more than 480 votes on bills, amendments and resolutions during the session.

 

First elected to the Kansas House in 2005, Rep. Otto represents the 9th House District which includes all of Allen County; the cities of Colony, Harris, Kincaid, Lone Elm and Westphalia in Anderson County; the city of Le Roy and Avon, Le Roy and Spring Creek Townships in Coffey County; the cities of Princeton, Richmond and Williamsburg in Franklin County; and part of Neosho Falls Township in Woodson County.

 

He serves on the House Education; Health and Human Services; and Elections and Governmental Organization Committees as well as the Joint Committee on Children’s Issues.
