ON 100% VOTING RECORD

Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Richard Proehl (R-Parsons) today on his 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.

“Rep. Proehl worked hard for his district this last session by not missing a single vote,” Speaker Neufeld said. “This shows not only his commitment to always be on the job for his constituents but his willingness to never shy away from the tough votes.”

The House recorded more than 480 votes on bills, amendments and resolutions during the session.

Rep. Proehl represents the 7th House District which includes the cities of Altamont, Bartlett, Chetopa, Edna, Labette, Oswego and Parsons in Labette County.  He first joined the Kansas House in 1996 to complete the term of former Rep.
