TOPEKAKansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) said today he looks forward to working with Representative-Elect Jill Quigley (R-Lenexa) in the 2008 Legislative Session.

“I want to congratulate Representative-Elect Jill Quigley on her election to the Kansas House of Representatives,” Speaker Neufeld said.   “I was impressed by her speech to the 17th District precinct committee members and look forward to working with her on limiting the size of government, increasing healthcare access, and continuing economic growth.”

Representative-Elect Quigley said she is very excited about beginning her work in the State Legislature.

“This has been such a great experience,” Quigley said, “I want to thank all of those who have helped and I am pleased that Representative Sharp will be able to work with me until her resignation becomes official on January 15th.”
