ON 100% VOTING RECORD
Topeka – Kansas Speaker of the House of Representatives Melvin Neufeld (R-Ingalls) congratulated Representative Marc Rhoades (R-Newton) today on his 100% voting record during the 2007 Legislative Session.
“During his first session, Rep. Rhoades worked hard for his district by not missing a single vote that came before the House,” Speaker Neufeld said. “This shows not only his dedication to represent his district well but also his commitment to always be on the job for his constituents and to never shy away from the tough votes.”
The House recorded more than 480 votes on bills, amendments and resolutions during the session.
Rep. Rhoades represents the 72nd District which includes part of Harvey County and the cities of Newton and North Newton.
He serves on the House Education; Social Services Budget; and Health and Human Services Committees as well as the 2007 Judiciary Interim Committee.
